Collected Works: The Permanent Collection in View (Part One)

With over 120 works on display from The Thames Art Gallery's permanent collection, Collected Works presents a rare opportunity to experience a representative overview of the numerous historical and contemporary paintings held in the public trust within our vault.  Set side by side with other prized works and seldom-seen objects, these works are both a celebration of art in the region and a chance to explore the unique potential Culture holds for everyone. With so many significant changes through the pandemic pause, this exhibition presents an opportunity to take pride in our roots.  It is also a remarkable opportunity to take this moment and reflect on the diversity of our perspectives and our communities as we reimagine how we would like to see the future unfold.

In upcoming years. the Thames Art Gallery is committed to exploring these perspectives through a series of initiatives using the collection as its base.
