Spark Joy! Art Series for Seniors
Learn new skills, meet new people! 55 years +
Become a Spark Joy! volunteer, receive training and support through workshops and senior led sessions. Share experiences, socialize and provide experiences for visitors and groups that are inclusive and accessible. Spark Joy! volunteers will have a frontline role in enhancing visitor experience – we currently have openings for volunteers to learn to create art appreciation videos and kits for the ASCK day programs in Wallaceburg and Chatham and create an Online Art Series for those in the CK community unable to attend in-person art classes.

Video Viewing and Making the Art Kits
The group will gather in Studio Two today for a social time preparing materials for the art kits for the Day Programs. The group will create written instructions for staff at the Day Centres.

Develop and Lead a Four Week Online Art Series
Enjoy the Elements of Design Art Class
Participate as a group in Studio Two with the program assistant in a variety of mini art lessons using clay, watercolours and inks and learn the steps involved in creating each art project.
