Accessibility and Gallery Amenities

The Thames Art Gallery is equipped with many amenities to make your visit with us as enjoyable as possible.

Admission Fee

Admission to the Gallery is free! Voluntary donations are accepted and appreciated.

Climate Controlled

The Gallery, Museum, Theatre and Milner House are climate controlled for your comfort and/or for the protection of our artifacts and art.

Elevator

An elevator is located in the Museum. There is no elevator access for the Theatre.

Fountains

A water fountain is located in the main lobby of the building, near the Box Office. Please note that access to the fountains is currently closed due to COVID-19.

Hearing Aid Devices

Devices are provided to Theatre patrons. Please identify your need to the Box Office 24 hours in advance.

Parking

Parking is provided free of charge. There are two parking lots: the largest one is located via William Street North and the other via Murray Street.

Picnic Areas

Enjoy the many picnic areas, located across the street in beautiful Tecumseh Park.

Public Transportation

There is a bus stop located near the Chatham Cultural Centre/Milner House parking lot on William Street North. The main downtown bus terminal is located within walking distance from the Centre. Please call 519-352-1920 for transit information.

Washrooms

There is a wheelchair accessible washroom located in the main lobby of the Centre and in the Museum.
